Lane Cove Thai Eatery honestly surprised me in the best way. the massaman curry was so good. Rich, creamy, full of flavour, and exactly the kind of comfort food you crave after a long day. The staff were incredibly lovely from the moment we walked in! You can tell they really care about their food and their customers. Portions are generous too, so you definitely get great value. Such a cosy little spot! Will definitely be back! update: went back and owner is so nice!!! Changed my 4 stars to 5
It was a very popular restaurant when we tried to walk in on a weekend evening, so I’d recommend booking in advance. We sat outside, but there were no working heaters. Otherwise, the food was delicious and came out very quickly (around 10 minutes for all our dishes). The Thai milk tea was a bit of a miss due to a funny aftertaste. The duck spring rolls had a generous filling, and the portion size for the green curry was also quite large. The five-spiced duck was very fragrant and tender. Overall, this is a great neighbourhood gem - will be back!
What a hidden gem! 🤩 We absolutely LOVED this place. The flavours were incredible! Super rich, balanced and so delicious. There’s a great variety on the menu and everything we tried was amazing. We ordered the green curry, beef massaman and the duck with pineapple… all 10/10 YUM! The staff were also really warm and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back often! 🫶🏼
We initially wanted to try Japanese sushi upstairs but unfortunately the shop was closed. We then walked by Thai Eatery and thought ‘why not give it a try?” It was absolutely out of our expectations! Supremely delicious food 😋😋😋 food was cooked with intense heat and flavourful aroma, matching nicely with their very chill jazz music. Excellent Thai vibe 😌😌😌
This place is a hidden gem! The food is always fresh and is well worth the money! This place will definitely be our new go to. Also s/o to the lady at the counter, she’s very nice and welcoming.
