Some of the best Thai I’ve ever had - loved every dish. All 5 of us enjoyed the food, wine and ambiance. Lamb Penang, yellow fish curry and crispy pork was devine. Can’t wait to return 🙌
Poor service let down what should have been a lovely meal. Unfortunately, the Masaman was cooked with far too much cinnamon making it inedible. We left 80% of this dish and politely commented on this, but no solution was offered. The waiter tried to justify the flavouring as standard. We was sat starting at the dirty plates for 10+ minutes making it even worse. We were sat for some time before a drinks order was taken too which added to the overall lack of service view. Positively, the starters were delicious as was the Panang. The restaurant is clearly capable of producing good food , I was disappointed to have had a bad experience yesterday. I should add that Massaman is one of my favourite curries. Having tried it several times in different parts of Thailand, and other countries around the world, I can say with confidence that it should not taste that strongly of cinnamon (I even bit into a chunk of cinnamon bark that was stuck to the beef).
One of the nicest Thai restaurants we’ve been to in terms of both food and service. We found it by accident while walking around Barangaroo, and it turned out to have everything we were looking for. The food is genuinely authentic Thai cuisine and as a Thai person, I can confidently say that. The crab fried rice tasted just like my mum’s fried rice, especially with the chili fish sauce on the side. They also have a great gluten-free menu, which was perfect for my celiac in-law. On top of that, the staff are incredibly friendly, remember you when you come back, and provide such warm, thoughtful service. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again. This has become one of our favourite restaurants in Barangaroo.
Good food, good views. The staff are polite and professional, the servings are generous and the prices reasonable. The mocktails are great.
Everything was good. We liked the food a lot. Well flavored. Sitting along side Darling Harbour was wonderful. The service was good. We had no complaints so it was a super dinner.
