A gem of Pyrmont! My partner and I are locals and this restaurant is our absolute ‘go to’ for both delicious take away and a fantastic dine-in experience. The service is second to none, the food is always absolutely delicious and the wait times are very short. We couldn’t recommend SOI25 more! 🍽️ The photo was our first entre - our favourite dishes are the curry puffs, prawn cakes, egg fried rice, pad see ew, crispy chicken stir fry and pad thai, but it’s all incredible!
Fantastic fusion of modern take on Thai food. Full of flavours, fresh ingredients. Scallop salmon entree and betel leaf special was a burst of flavours. Roast duck curry was smoky, tasty and punchy. The fried snapper was fresh, moist and so crispy. Service was impeccable.
Soi 25 Express Thai Fusion is a fantastic spot for tasty and authentic Thai food with a modern twist. 🍲🌶️ The flavors are bold and aromatic, with dishes like pad thai, green curry, and crispy pork being standouts. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food comes out quickly, making it perfect for both dine-in and takeaway. The restaurant is casual yet clean, with friendly staff who are attentive and happy to recommend dishes if you’re unsure. It’s also a convenient choice for a quick lunch or relaxed dinner. A reliable place when you’re craving Thai comfort food that’s fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.
As a party of 7 arriving with no booking the sole waiter/manager was very accomodating and nothing was too much trouble. It was a busy mid week dinner time and but service was prompt and meals arrived hot and with no delay. Would highly recommend this fabulous local restaurant.
Tried the new Burwood restaurant for the first time. Would give it 4.5 stars. Penang curry with Wagyu beef was so good - my favourite. Also loved the pork belly with greens. Crab fried rice was pretty good too. I would happily re-order those three. Wouldn't re-order the chicken wings cos they're very small and basic. They tasted fine, especially with the sweet chilli sauce but I would put that money towards the mains next time. The Hokkaido scallops were very nice but expensive (as expected). Again, next time I would put that money towards the mains which were fantastic. Staff were super attentive and refilled our water often. Only bad thing was that there is a lot of glare from the setting sun, which is fixable. And not a bad thing per se, but they would be doing themselves a favour if they had proper printed menus with professional photos of all the food. Their food presentation is really nice, so it's a shame that you have to read the menu off your phone and you can't see what the dishes look like.
