Thai garden house was a lovely place to go. We've driven past it countless times over the last year and finally got to go in and try it. It was very nice, without being incredible. The food was very nice and it actually had some unique dishes you don't see at the run of the mill Thai places, so definitely worth a go. The service was actually quite good, and price was reasonable too. The building, decor and garden is all very nice, id absolutely recommend going, it is a charming place
We had a wonderful dinner here. The food arrived quickly and everything tasted incredibly fresh. I particularly enjoyed the bean sprouts served on top of the noodle dish. The presentation was lovely and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed meal. We will definitely be coming back soon.
Thai Garden House is a quaint restaurant offering a fine dining experience. The staff were attentive and had attention to detail. As our dining group was large, we made a reservation and dined in as a group of 8. We spent just under $30 per person and ordered a variety of food to share. Green papaya salad Red duck curry Beef Massaman curry Phuket pork belly Chicken Pad Thai noodle Basil vegetables stir fried Large tom yum Rice (one large and one small) Our waitstaff did suggest you order more rice after we only ordered the large rice for everyone. For dessert, we ordered the following to share: Kao Tom Banana with vanilla ice cream Kao Tom taro with vanilla ice cream Pumpkin with vanilla ice cream Fried golden gaytime The pumpkin dessert was the best! We could see that there were lots of customers who came in to collect their orders OR ordered, then waited for their food to take away. A lovely dining experience. Thai Garden House restaurant us conveniently located right next to the light rail stop, and within a 1 minute walk. However, if you are driving, remember check out how to get there ahead of time. Due to the light rail, you can not simply turn in OR out of the side street, Factory Street, from/onto Church Street.
Compared to Thai I’ve had in other places, sadly this was really below the par for me. The portion of vegetables in vegetable curry is very low and the flavours well bland. However, the cashew prawn stir fry served a tad better.
I had the pleasure of attending a Christmas dinner here with family and friends, and it was nothing short of delightful. The staff were incredibly friendly, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. This hidden gem in Parramatta is truly a fantastic spot to unwind and relax. The food was outstanding, with most dishes packed full of flavor that left a lasting impression. The star of the night, however, was undoubtedly the deep-fried Golden Gaytime pastry ice cream—a showstopping dessert that elevated the entire experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional food and a cozy, welcoming vibe. This is a place that’s worth discovering!
