We had just finished a meeting and were feeling hungry late at night, so we were really glad to find Thai Garden Restaurant open until 11pm — perfect for a relaxed late dinner. There were 7 of us, and since we didn’t want anything too heavy, we ordered a few dishes to share: Tom Kha Gai (lemongrass chicken coconut soup), chilli basil prawn stir-fry, a vegetarian stir-fry, and Thai beef salad. The Thai beef salad was definitely the standout — so fresh and full of flavour. My friends also couldn’t stop complimenting the soup; it was warm, comforting, and beautifully balanced. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the night, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We finished off with a Belgian waffle with chocolate sauce and strawberries — such a wow factor and the perfect sweet ending. Another small detail I appreciated: the toilets were very clean, with separate male and female facilities (not unisex), which is always a plus. Overall, great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere to sit, chat, and unwind. We all had a really enjoyable time — and we’ll definitely be back again.
⭐️Very Disappointing Experience I ordered Pad Kee Mao from the menu, which clearly listed the ingredients as thick rice noodles stir-fried with mushroom, egg, baby corn, pumpkin, bamboo shoots, fresh chilli, and Thai basil. As a specific eater, I carefully selected no for everything except chicken, egg, and fresh chilli. However, when the dish arrived, it had broccoli and carrots, which were not even mentioned in the menu description. Naturally, I assumed those ingredients wouldn’t be included since they weren’t listed and therefore there was nothing for me to deselect. When I pointed this out, the waitstaff kindly took it back for correction, but the owner returned with the same dish, insisting it was made exactly as I had requested. She also mentioned that she is a businesswoman and that the dish would just go straight into the bin, implying it wasn’t their fault and asking why I didn’t note “no vegetables.” My question is: why were broccoli and carrots in the dish in the first place if they are not even mentioned on the menu description? I had only excluded the ingredients that were listed and that I didn’t want. After a somewhat uncomfortable discussion, the owner eventually took it back and remade the dish with just chicken, egg, and noodles as requested. Unfortunately, the taste was extremely disappointing. It didn’t taste like Thai food at all it barely tasted like anything. By that point my mood was already off, and I ended up leaving without enjoying the meal. The owner suggested that next time I should mention things more clearly in the notes. However, I would suggest that restaurants list all ingredients properly on their menu and deliver dishes exactly as described. This is crucial not only for customer expectations but also because some customers may have allergies, and accurate ingredient information is very important. Sadly, the entire experience was disheartening and disappointing and there will be no next time. 😞🍜
🔥 5/5 stars for Thai Garden Restaurant! 😍 The food was absolutely incredible - every dish bursting with authentic, fresh flavors. The Pad Thai and green curry were standouts, perfectly balanced and seriously tasty. Service was on point too. Staff were super friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the whole time. The atmosphere is cozy and chill, great for dinner with friends or family. Clean, warm vibe that matches the food. Will definitely be back again! Highly recommend if you want great tasting Thai food with awesome service 👍
I ordered through Uber eats, paid for$22 + delivery fee and service fee, only to get a bowl of soup with 2 pieces of shrimp, 2 slices of tomato, 5 slices of mini corns, and a bunch of mushrooms in it🙄 Won’t order in this place again!
Ordered Make you own box -Hookein noodles & fried barramundi around 10pm on 8/03/25. Hookein noodles were soggy, tasteless and hard to eat. Fish was crispy. Chef needs to check the noodles prior to chucking in the wok. Paid $20 for it and also need to read the instructions on order to make it extra hot. Literally, it didn't had a hint of hotness. I am not a fussy reviewer. However I will leave it at 2 star at this stage.
