I left my daughter to a friend’s birthday party then I stumbled upon this Thai restaurant in Gregory Hills. I never expected to find such an authentic Thai restaurant here! The food was fantastic. The pipis were cooked to perfection and had a delicious flavour. The king prawns in the tom yum soup were huge and fresh, and the soft-shell crab was incredibly crispy. The drinks was pretty and tasty, and the service was top-notch. The staff were friendly and caring, always smiling and attentive to my needs. The restaurant was well-presented, clean, and quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would definitely return with my whole family.
This is our favourite local restaurant. We go weekly. Great food at a great price. Always freshly cooked and super quick. Deals with our family allergies (nuts and gluten). BYO but also licensed. Super nice staff. We prefer dine-in over take-away, to really enjoy the food freshly made.
Absolutely adored my experience at this Thai restaurant. The food was extremely fresh, light, and featured very delicate flavours. On par with any of the best Thai I’ve had in Sydney and beyond. Presentation was excellent along with the atmosphere and service. Very warm and pleasant space. 100% recommend the food if you’re looking for high quality and comforting Thai.
I want to start by talking about the humanity and hospitality of this place. It has a very sober and peaceful atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the chef is a kind person. The food is delicious, fresh, and you can clearly see the quality and love with which each dish is made. I've been to this place many times, and every time I go, I order something different, and they never cease to surprise me. Thank you 🤩
The Worst Massaman Curry I've Ever Had, and I've Had Many. I am genuinely shocked by how bad my experience at Thaii restaurant was. Having ordered Massaman curry from countless Thai restaurants across the country, I can confidently say this was the absolute worst version I have ever been served. I ordered the beef massaman curry with coconut rice, expecting the rich, creamy, and nutty dish I know and love. What arrived was a pale imitation. First, the consistency was completely wrong. The curry was watery and thin, lacking any of the luxurious, creamy coconut milk base that defines this dish. It looked and tasted diluted, as if it had been stretched far beyond its means. Second, the promised components were missing or pathetic. The cashew nuts were totally absent. Didn’t find even a tiny piece. The beef was shockingly poor: low-quality, gristly, and cut into minuscule scraps that were hard to even find in the watery sauce. It felt like they used the cheapest possible stew meat scraps. The coconut rice was the only passable element, but it couldn't salvage this disaster. For the price, this meal was an insult. It wasn't just subpar; it was a fundamentally failed execution of a classic dish. I've never felt compelled to write such a scathing review, but this meal was so profoundly disappointing it warrants a warning. Save your money and your taste buds. This is not authentic or even competent Thai food.
