We tried Yok Thai for the first time while visiting Manly and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The restaurant is beautiful inside—calm, elegant and modern, with lovely music playing softly in the background. The customer service was excellent, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The menu has a great variety and caters very well to different dietary requirements, with everything clearly labelled. The ingredients tasted fresh, especially the vegetables, and you could really notice the quality in every dish. The homemade curry was one of our favourites. It was made from scratch, full of flavour and absolutely delicious. A wonderful dining experience from beginning to end, and we will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this restaurant! My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch at Yok. It was our first time in and the waiters were very kind answering questions. We tried the oysters, corn fritters, green Thai chili and a chef special of kingfinsh skewers. The oysters were the best I have had! Green curry was very fresh with a tiny kick to it. The kingfish skewers were delightful, and had a wonderful peanut sauce with them. The corn fritters were fresh and had the perfect sweet chili sauce with them. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant too. Try this restaurant out if you can!!

This is my 5th experience dining @ Yok Thai. It’s become our favourite Thai in Sydney. The food is exceptional, very fresh, beautiful flavours and nothing overkilled by heavy use of chilli, which many places do. This is more fine dining than your average Thai. Service has always been very attentive and our waiter had great knowledge about the wine list, and our wines were perfectly matched with our food. Unfortunately for us most of the deserts were gone, but not worth losing ratings over. We left well nourished and very happy with our experience.

Hands down one of the best vegan Thai meals I ever. We split the cashew nut tofu stir fry and the pad thai and both were DELICIOUS. Atmosphere is perfect, service is attentive. Don't miss it. 👌🏽

The food is exceptional, no question about it the quality is great and it shows. The service was also exemplary, characterized by a welcoming and courteous staff. However, I do have some reservations regarding the portion sizes for takeout orders and the associated pricing, which appears to be somewhat extreme. For instance, a shrimp pad Thai containing only TWO shrimp in a small container for $27 is concerning and overall disappointing most of the meal was riddled with mung bean sprouts and chives. Similarly, eight mini wings for $18 also seems rather expensive. For that reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Despite these points, I did enjoy the meal and would consider dining here again.
