The Thai food menu offers a nice variety, and the dishes are truly delicious. The spicy level is just right, and the ingredients, including the meat, are fresh and juicy. The Chicken Satay is especially fabulous. However, the service could use some improvement to make your experience more pleasant. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, though the dining hall can feel a bit cramped and busy, which may make it a bit uncomfortable.
I always give 5 stars to this comfort resto ! :) I’ve been coming to this Thai restaurant for many years, and it always takes me back to my first days in Sydney 🤍 Back then, I couldn’t afford expensive meals. But this place made it possible to get through those times with their affordable lunch specials ,good price ,simple, delicious, and comforting. Nice service ! Lovely staff also I love kraprow so much always tasty , I suggest to order with tom leng will be the best combo ❤️
Absolutely the best Thai food we've had outside Thailand! Wow! We had a few dishes and all were sensational and genuinely 'Thai spicy'! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Service was friendly and the place was buzzing on a Saturday night. So many choices on the menu, and plenty of the menu was written in Thai as well as English, which means Thai folks dine there, and that is the true indicator of the authenticity of their food. Thai food in Sydney is generally really average - too creamy, not spicy enough and just not like the amazingness they dish up in Bangkok. But not so at Yok Yor. This is the real deal, and this is now our new go-to place for authentic Thai food in Sydney. So good.
Great Thai restaurant, opens till late, consistently providing amazing casual eats. If looking for an authentic tasting Thai restaurant near Central with innovative menu, please consider this. We got: - Chicken wrapped in pandan leaf - Pretty good, 7.5/10, I actually haven’t seen this dish presentation before. - Ba Mee Moo Dang Keaw (egg noodles with bbq pork) with broth. Flavourful, authentic tasting boat noodles. Plentiful serving with heaps of meat! - Pad kee maw 8.6/10 Really flavourful, not heavy or oily - coming from someone who always orders this at Thai restaurants. Chicken could be a tad more tender. Love the texture the chilli and greens provide. It’s a reasonable spice level as well. - Morning glory with pork belly 8.5/10 - this is spicier than I expected but was very flavourful. We absolutely love the texture of morning glory, crunchy yet floppy. Another dish I always order and this place has done well.
Authentic Thai food through and through. I'm so glad they open late cos we managed to get a feed after a late flight and it did not disappoint. Food was balanced and super tasty. Highlights were the crab fried rice, mango sticky rice and the larb. Will definitely be back!
