We have been to this Thao and Lao restaurant a couple of times now and this is our favourite Thai Lao place around the area. The fried barramundi with apple salad was so good and the fish tasted fresh (not fishy at all). Service is also very prompt and they delivered the food quickly. They have a wide menu from noodle soups, rice and vegetarian dishes. We also love the sour fish fried rice which is a favourite of ours.

This hidden gem of Cabramatta ought to be more well-known because of just how good the dishes are here, especially with the $15 lunch special. Whether you're looking for a classic pad kee mao or something a bit different from your usual Thai fare, Zaap by Chang has you covered. I greatly enjoyed the E-Sarn set during my first visit and have since come back several times, including a family outing, and all of the dishes are absolutely cooked to perfection. Will definitely come by again for delicious Thai-Lao food!

Really impressed with Zaap by Chang. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavours and everything came out fresh and quick. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and was well portioned. The drinks were also superb! refreshing, well made, and paired perfectly with the meal. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient without feeling rushed. Great atmosphere too! Lively but still comfortable. Definitely a hidden gem in Cabramatta. Overall a fantastic dining experience with great value for money. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Sunday 29th March 2026 Between 12:30pm - 13:30pm Me and my parents sat at table 18 and ordered the lunch time special:- - Pad kee Mao - was delicious but I had better elsewhere. And there was no "wok-hei" aroma from this dish. But still had the flavour when tasting it - Pad Thai - again, no wok hei like pad kee Mao, and in addition, it had the flavour and was nice, but it was too soggy. - my dad had this pork knuckle with rice that came with the sweet chilli sauce and small bowl of soup. Forgot the name of this dish and the pork was boneless. That was quite nice as well, but if anyone orders this dish I recommend you eat the dish with the rice together. If you go individually, then the flavour might be too overpowering and rich. Service - the waitress that took our order was polite, well mannered and nice. Had provided good customer service Drink: tried the Starry night but there's nothing special about it. It's simply lychee drink, & made the colour of the drink half white half purple. The mint was fresh. But for $9 is quite expensive. Atmosphere: very clean interior with nice decor and a spacious dining room. It is very cosy which expands the dining comfort. Will I return? Maybe will return next time, if I feel like going back there for lunch. Overall: thank you for the good customer service and delicious meals. I was actually surprised this place does lunch specials on weekends!!

Hidden Gem Very nice Thai lao restaurant in Cabramatta. Very different from other Thai restaurants. After trying it with friends I said "you would never know how good it was unless someone took you here and it is great". The decor was very interesting with antique photography equipment and other decorative things on the walls, lighting perfect for dinner meals. The pork belly was phenomenal. They cook it without the crackling but with a delicious scorched layer of fat on the edge, cooked just right creates a nice moist texture ๐Ÿ‘Œ. The pork skewers were great as well. The baramundi was nice with all the spices infused into the meat. The chicken was cooked nicely as well but my favorite dishes were definitely the pork ones. The Tom yam pairs nicely with all the different meat dishes. The Pad Thai was nice and rich. If you're looking for something different from the regular Thai food definitely go check it out.
