I recently visited this restaurant while there was a concert happening next door. With all the excitement, I didn’t realise until two days later that there had been a transaction error — instead of being charged $21, I was charged $221. About three days after the purchase, I went back to the venue and the manager and coordinator kindly looked into it. They immediately recognised it was a typo on the EFTPOS machine and handled the situation with complete professionalism. There were no issues, no hesitation, they were incredibly respectful and reassuring. As I’m from Brisbane, they took my details and processed the refund the very next day as promised. I truly appreciated their honesty and follow-through. I want to leave this review not only because the food was great, but because their professionalism, integrity, and genuine human quality really stood out. It’s refreshing to see that you can still trust businesses that take accountability and do the right thing. Highly recommended.
The photo of my wrap doesn't really do it much justice, coz it's fantastic! Pretty good, authentic Arabic food that is reasonably priced. Would certainly recommend.
The lady was so rude and rushy. I would have walked off if I wasn’t ina rush and needed food on the go. Food tasted bad and had mould on it
This place is absolutely DIVINE. I don't know what the others got or what they are complaining about. I got the chicken chargrill platter and it was just about the best thing I have ever eaten. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, and paired with the salad fixings, hummus, and tzatziki on pita, my taste buds were in heaven. I also got a rose turkish delight, which was also delicious. I had to wait twelve days until I had come back from my cruise to get this dish again, and it was well worth it. If I could move to Australia just for this place, I would do it.
I had the $16 chicken kebab. The chicken that oozed onto the plate looked very dry. I went to a show at the Lyric and just as it was about to start I had to leave in a hurry. I was violently ill. Both vomiting and diarrhoea. The staff at the Lyric were very caring and attentive . She said it wasn't unusual for people to eat in the food court and then be ill and not see the show
