This place serves amazing Turkish food in the heart of Barangaroo. The location, scenery and atmosphere are fantastic, and the food was excellent. The only downside is that it's quite expensive, and the portion sizes could be a little more generous, which is why I'd give it 4.5 stars rather than 5. The food quality and service were both very good. My favourite dishes were the hummus and chilli dip, which paired perfectly with the fresh Turkish bread. Although I was still a bit hungry after the meal considering the price, the flavours and overall experience made it worth the visit. I would definitely come back, but probably only for a special occasion!
We had an incredible meal here recently. The quality of the food was exceptional, and every dish was packed with vibrant flavors. The grilled octopus was a standout. It was perfectly cooked and presented beautifully with fresh dill and peppers. We also loved the salad, which was topped with a generous amount of fresh crumbled cheese and crunchy walnuts. Everything felt fresh and carefully prepared. The service was prompt, and the presentation of each plate was lovely. We left feeling completely satisfied with our experience. It is a fantastic spot in Barangaroo that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable meal.
We went to Anason and honestly… everything was amazing. The octopus was super tender with a smoky flavor and that creamy base just made it even better. The lamb was perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor. We also tried a tomato confit with cheese that was sooo good, simple but really well balanced. And the bread was on top! The vibe is modern and cozy, and the service was great the whole time. Definitely a place we’d come back to.
This place is definitely worth the money. The food was good quality, delicate and well thought through. Everyone was so welcoming and we showed up on a Saturday night without a reservation when it was extremely busy but the manager handled it with ease and made sure we got a table. And then the serving staff, Liz provided an exceptional service, very professional, friendly and didn’t rush us at all although it was very busy night. She also introduced Turkish tea for us to try, I had no idea the teas would be this high of a quality, if she didn’t introduced it to us. Thank you for your exceptional service and we will come back again.
This was my second time visiting this restaurant, and once again, I had a wonderful experience. Their samovar tea, apple tea, and Turkish coffee are excellent. The kunafa and baklava are absolutely delicious. The food overall is very tasty and high quality. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again.
