Small little shop on the main Dee Why promenade. I wasn’t a fan of their bahn mi, I was expecting a Vietnamese crispy baguette which wasn’t what they served, nice and fresh ingredients, but was made a bit soggy by the sauces they put on, even though I ate it almost straight away. Had the passion mango smoothie which was quite sweet by very delicious, none of the grittiness expected from blended passionfruit!
food taste nice, the pork belly is juicy and full of flavour, the ratio between meat & rice is also perfect. the minus on this restaurant is their service. I know that some of them are on break, they’re on their phones with a blue gloves. I asked them “are you guys open?” and that old lady was pointing the computer screen for order
Lunch visit. Short 10 minute wait because food is made to order. Vermicelli salad with bbq pork was great, really fresh. Also had the side order of spring rolls but will give them a miss next time as the salad was large enough for a decent lunch. The banh mi was loaded with chicken (can I say a bit too much?) Anyway great location on a sunny day.
Yummy food, quick service! Would definitely recommend this pretty Vietnamese store!
Really enjoyed my noodle salad with seafood spring rolls. Salad was fresh on a bed of perfectly cooked vermicelli noodles. The spring rolls were full of seafood and the crispy covers were delicate and not oily. Plenty of dressing provided too. Overall great lunch with a view of the beach and not too expensive.
