⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had such a great dining experience at Annamese. The standout for me was definitely the mango sticky rice cocktail — it tasted like a dessert smoothie but with a cocktail twist. Absolutely delicious and a must-try. Another highlight was the chicken and prawn meatballs. They were incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The dumplings were decent but probably the most average dish we ordered. My personal favourite was the fried noodles. They had a strong Pad Thai-style flavour, but with a subtle Vietnamese spice touch that made them really unique and addictive. The environment is beautiful with a premium Barangaroo location and a stylish atmosphere perfect for date nights or dinners with friends. Service was excellent throughout the night, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the quality and location. Definitely a place I’d come back to again.
My first time dining in this elevated Vietnamese restaurant. Staff were attentive. Food was coming out quite fast. We had the Bo Luc Lac wagyu, Wok fried lemongrass chicken breakfast, Whole fried snapper & steamed jasmine rice. Everything was very tasty. My favourite was the lemongrass chicken. The beef was a bit chewy but delicious. Must order the whole fried snapper. Crunchy and the sauce gives the tangy flavour. Would love to go back again to try their Crab Fried Rice & Green papaya salad.
The lemongrass chicken, the slow cooked lamb with peanut sauce paired with the most delicious, crispy, fluffy roti we have ever tasted. We also had a cocktail each which was perfectly balanced and beautifully garnished. We will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommend
Had a great experience. The food was beautifully presented and full of balanced. The ambience was excellent and really made it a great place to dine out. Staff were friendly and attentive. I went with a friend and we both had a really positive time overall. It felt like a proper fine dining experience done right. Definitely a place I’d visit again.
Highly recommend coming here for sorta fine dining Viet Food. Absolutely delightful experience. Not only food was super delicious, service was top notch! We tried 2 cocktails and to be honest, we would love to try all of them :). Mango Sticky rice tasted exactly what you would expect from the dessert with an alcohol twist. Sugercane Mojito was slightly disappointed compared to Mango Sticky rice as I could not taste any sugarcane element in it. Must try was the oysters! The sauce was to die for ! All the main were nice, especially the dumplings and the grilled prawns. Lastly the black sticky rice with shreds of coconut, coconut ice cream and pandan ice cream was exactly what we expected it to be. All natural flavours and the black sticky rice was served slightly warm and we would love it to be room temperature as the ice cream melted kinda quickly. It is a restaurant that is located in a nice area where we can just catch a ferry there and back home. Would come again for sure!
