A true gem in the neighbourhood, this local Vietnamese restaurant delivers everything you’d hope for fresh, vibrant flavours and consistently excellent food. From the moment you sit down, there’s a sense of authenticity in both the menu and the atmosphere. The dishes are beautifully balanced, showcasing the hallmark of Vietnamese cuisine: clean flavours, fragrant herbs, and just the right amount of richness. The pho is a standout, with a deeply flavourful broth that’s clearly been simmered with care, while the vermicelli and rice dishes are equally satisfying fresh, light, and full of texture. Every plate feels thoughtfully prepared, using quality ingredients that really shine through. Whether it’s the crispness of the herbs, the tenderness of the meats, or the perfect seasoning across the board, the kitchen shows real consistency. Paired with friendly service and a relaxed, welcoming vibe, this is the kind of place you keep coming back to whether for a quick casual meal or a comforting, flavour-packed feast.
Food was great, very delicious! Portion/sizes were good, enough for a group. Loved the lychee iced tea, and the Special rice. It was busy and friends have said it's always busy, goes to show food is good! 😊
I ordered the grilled pork dried noodle and green beans, and both were delicious. The grilled pork was especially good—tender and juicy, unlike some places where it can be overly dry. It was slightly salty for my personal taste, but overall, I really enjoyed the flavours and would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
A nice Vietnamese restaurant in heartland Crows Nest. There are a few Vietnamese restaurants to choose from in Crows Nest. I like this restaurant - it follows similar formula to many Vietnamese restaurants across Sydney: combo Hanoi street vibe with colonial/parisian vibe, efficient service, quick and good food. Range of different clientele on my dining night from the well heeled to the straight off the beach, shorts, T-shirt and flip flops. Anything goes. Main reason you go to a Vietnamese restaurant is the food and I was not disappointed. Good sized helpings, good depth of flavours, fresh salad and herbs, tangy chilli sauce. We ordered the papaya salad, tamarind salmon, crispy skin chicken, Vietnamese pancake and a plate of veges for 4. A nice bottle of Riesling to boot. Heaps of food and all delicious - would definitely go back. Good suburban Vietnamese.
Great Vietnamese place. Food was really good and the service stood out. The pho broth was nicely balanced, not too heavy, just clean and flavourful. Shoutout to Daphne for being super friendly and attentive.
