I ordered the Cơm Tấm Đặc Biệt, and it instantly reminded me of Vietnam. The pork was succulent and not dry, and I really enjoyed every flavour on the dish. The pricing and portion sizes were very affordable, making it great value for such a hearty and authentic meal. Service was fast — you order, pay, and receive a buzzer to collect your food when it’s ready. There’s also plenty of parking right in front of the food truck, as well as along nearby streets, which makes it really convenient to stop by. The vibe of the place reminds me of the streets of Saigon, adding to the authenticity. The only downside is that the place could use a bit of a clean, but I’d come again just for the pork — it was that good.
I really liked the cơm tấm here. The pork had a great smoky, charred flavour that stood out. Well marinated meat. The bún riêu was ok, but my favourite was the crab cake. You can really taste the difference from the fresh water crab they use. The staff were friendly and welcoming. My only criticism is that one of the managers inconsiderately reprimanded an employee for wearing headphones while working with customers around. While it’s understandable to address workplace issues, it would have been more appropriate to do so quietly or in private. The restaurant is small, so customers could easily hear the conversation and it made for an uncomfortable dining experience. I do find this common in Cabramatta and I feel It needs to change.
This place has the best Saigon vibe! The decor and the smell of the food immediately took me
