Used to be my favourite place for Bò Kho but now not so much. The meat quality isn’t great and when I asked for less fatty pieces the staff said it’s already pre packed in portions so they can’t change it. I had to take out most of the meat because I couldn’t have it. The broth is a bit oily.

Great service and delicious, authentic food in Marrickville. I’ve visited several times, often dining alone, and I keep coming back for the special combination pork chop with broken rice—it never disappoints. The bò lá lốt and green papaya salad are both excellent. The caramelized fish in a clay pot is a must-try; it’s a true rice stealer and pairs perfectly with the Vietnamese sweet and sour fish hotpot. I highly recommend the Vietnamese yogurt for the drink.

All the dishes we ordered were great. Papaya salad, sour soup with fish, bánh xèo and tofu pudding.

Great Vietnamese food amongst the many in Little Vietnam. The Bun Bo Hue I had was delicious and fragrant. It was great that you get fresh chilli to moderate the spice level. My friend and I shared veggie spring rolls and thought the insides were a little mushy for our preference but it still tasted good.

No kidding, they have the best and crispiest banh xeo. Other places make the mistake of getting the batter too thick so the bottom becomes soggy, but here it’s wafer thin and cracker-like. There’s not a lot of protein but overall it’s perfect as a light, healthy meal. This is going to be my go-to from now on for Vietnamese pancakes.
