Just like Hanoi ! This place is beautifully decorated outside & inside just Hanoi old country style. You can see them preparing the foods in their old style kitchen enclosed by straw hut. We have tried two types of Combo sets and they were both amazing. The larger one was mostly composed of meaty chunks, and smaller one with rice pancakes. They both looked & tasted beautiful reminding us of our recent Vietnam holidays. Unfortunately the service was quite poor mainly because the manager/ waitress couldn’t speak/ understand much English. We could only point to the menu and we couldn’t get any recommendations or other choices. We had much difficulty finding out that they do not sell Phos. Maybe they only focus on serving the Vietnamese people … Neverthe less great place for special night out to go for non- Pho evening events.

This Hanoi restaurant offers some of the best food I’ve tasted in Australia. It instantly transported me back to my favourite Vietnamese trip, particularly Hanoi. The food is simply unbelievable – fresh, tasty and delicious.

Great value banh cuon platter ($21) with pork done 4 ways - yum. Pork patty, grilled pork belly, pork in betel leaf, and finally pork mince in the banh cuon. There's also a banh cuon parcel with pork mince, wood ear and a sunny-side up egg in it! The bun rieu ($14) is a mellow rendition - not as tomatoey as others. It was very generous on the crispy pork belly (8-10 slices?) and the pork knuckle slices were tender. But the shredded lettuce wasn't very fresh.

Absolutely😍 love the food-freshness/authenticity and the rustic aesthetics where you can see your food🍜 being prepared. But the service, seriously need to improve. Was there when the just opened, saw a puddle of dirt on my table, politely asked the staff to clean, was given a "what's the problem, you can sit another table" attitude! Seriously?!

I had a wonderful experience dining at this restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a charming traditional setup that immediately makes you feel welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service was impressively quick despite the busy crowd. The food was absolutely amazing. fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. From the crispy tofu and herbs to the richly seasoned dishes and broths, every plate was full of authentic taste and quality. It’s clear the kitchen puts real care into every item they serve. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious traditional Vietnamese food, great service, and a cosy, vibrant setting. I will definitely be returning!
