This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, and for good reason. The food is always great, tasty, and made with real care. The biggest thing for me, which is so underrated nowadays, is that absolutely no hot food is placed in plastic containers. Most places just toss boiling soup into plastic, but here, everything is served in proper ceramic bowls with wooden chopsticks and stainless steel spoons. It makes a huge difference because when you put piping hot food in plastic, you’re basically asking for chemicals to leach into your meal, and it usually gives the food a weird, artificial aftertaste. Using ceramic keeps the flavors clean and the food hot without the health risks of melted toxins. It’s a massive plus that shows they actually care about their customers. Highly recommend!
Great local place in the Alexandria area to get your pho fix if you're craving it. Authentic flavour from a Vietnamese family-run business. The proprietor/aunty is super nice, and service is fairly quick, even during peak lunch rush.
One of the best spots for pho in the neighbourhood! The broth was incredibly aromatic and packed with flavour. Portion sizes were very generous, especially the amount of protein. I visited on a Friday evening and the one staff member working was handling everything solo but still managed to be super friendly and welcoming. Great food and great service – highly recommended!
I’ve been here a few times and usually I enjoy it but - I got a pork Bahn mi which was literally 99% fat - it was like they cut all the fat off and just put that into a sandwich. I feel sick, and when I told them and showed them the mountain of fat I picked off the Bahn mi they weren’t really interested - didn’t offer me another one or anything, they were like “thanks for telling us”. I don’t think I’ve ever given a 1 star before but that was disgusting, and their reaction was just disappointing. Never going back
Super fresh and delicious!!!! I 💯 recommend the crispy pork Bahn mi and the rice paper rolls are 🤤🤤🤤🤤. Also the size portions are huge!! Like I can really eat but I underestimated the portions so I had some left over for a snack 😂
