An old stalwart of the Republic courtyard in Darlinghurst that has withstood the test of time and for good reason. Been here for lunch a few times and it has always been good. Start with the fried crab dumplings which are super crispy and have an excellent crab filling. Their other signature dish is the duck and prawn pancake which is a rice paper roll with mini banh Xeo pancake in it as well. This is a hard to find dish and worth the try. The Bo la lot were good as well. Mains included the beef, cha cha salmon and salt and pepper calamari which were all good. The lunch special pho was quite decent as well. Staff were friendly and efficient. When we went there was also a cash discount on offer as well.
This is an excellent Vietnamese fusion restaurant with a healthy focus. It’s conveniently located near tourist attractions, making it perfect to visit with friends. The prices are affordable, and most importantly, the owner has over 20 years of cooking experience.
Quite good almost authentic Vietnamese food with slight but obvious Aussie taste. Loved the rice paper rolls, dumplings (either scallops or blue swimmer crab. The pork hock is unusual but very tasty with it accompanying sauce. Loved the Cha-Ca Trout, loved the herbs. Mostly outdoor seating.
Fresh and tasty dishes, lovely service. We especially enjoyed the prawn papaya salad. Nice outdoor seating with lovely energy.
Situated within a steak house, a Japanese restaurant and (an) Italian restaurant, this place holds its own... I thought the food was delicious/5 st⭐️r(s) but th3 service in/at the place far exceeds that! A place I highly/strongly recommend for any1 to visit!!!
