I ordered from Uber Eats yesterday and had a bad experience with both the food and the service. I was confused about which sauces came with the dish because the app didn’t list them clearly—there was only a photo. From the picture, I assumed it included peanut sauce. I requested fish sauce, which is usually free at Vietnamese restaurants. However, they charged me an extra $3 for a small container without asking for my confirmation. $3 for fish sauce is too expensive—most places provide it for free, or at most charge around $0.50 to $1. Uber Eats already adds an extra $1–$2 per item, so charging an additional $3 for such a small thing feels unreasonable. It’s not about the money, but it reflects poor service. Also, the Bún Bò Huế was not good. It was too oily and too sweet, and it lacked the rich beef flavour you would expect. Never comeback here again !!!
Tried the banh xeo here on a recommendation. Staff were friendly, the food was huge for the price and it had plenty of herbs and prawns. Loved it and will return on my next visit to Sydney.
Guys, if your looking for nice Vietnamese food? Pho 2U offers just that delicious meals, good portion and affordable prices. Both my wife and I agreed all the dishes tasted amazing with no complaints. They will definitely see us back soon. Pho comes in two sizes, regular or large and we chose regular which looks large enough for 1 person. If you’re dining with a group, order a few dishes to share or individual and you’re done for the night. Service is quick and food presented nicely. The interior is a bit random, it’s modern with no Vietnamese deco, It’s brightly lit and clean.
I had the Pho Rare Beef for lunch in this restaurant. I was feeling pretty hungry when I went in so i ordered the large serve. The stock was very good with that sweet beef aroma. There was plenty of beef slices too, whenever I scoop up, there is a piece of beef. The serve was indeed very generous and it fully satisfied my hunger. The only problem I had was there was a table where the elderly customers spoke so loudly and they were also shouting profanities without the care or respect of other diners. They were Asian and speaking Cantonese, what a disgrace!!! Although this is no fault of Pho 2U, the management could have told them off. Anyway, fortunately that didn't affect my appetite. After finishing the bowl including nearly all the soup too, I went on to pay and realized that it was only a small serve. Wow, I can imagine if it was a big serve. Most definitely go back there again and try other dishes. But I will see if this group of disrespectful elderly people I will not go in. I have also taken the liberty to include photos of their menu for the benefit of other patrons whom want to try this restaurant.
I’ve visited this place multiple times, and it’s consistently impressive. Every meal has been a delight, with flavors that never disappoint. My go-to order are fried wontons, chicken pho, and fried rice—each dish is a standout and always hits the spot. Highly recommend for anyone craving a delicious, reliable meal!
