This is my favorite place for a fulfilling meal of lemon grass pork chops. Been here for number of times for lunch and had it with rice, soup noodle or combination broken rice. Always the same tasty pork chops. The pork chops being served are big and nicely fried with lemon grass coated over yet its tender and juicy. The amount served is usually more than enough for me. Another go to dish for me is the vermicelli salad, also large portion with plenty of ingredients. I had it with the lemon grass chicken also very tender and succulent which goes well with the raw veggie salad and vermicelli. This place's service is always very fast and note a lot things are self-serve here like bottled tap water, cups, cutleries and ordering at the counter. But if something ran out the staff are happy to help. The restaurant has two levels so plenty of seating with upper level mainly for larger groups. It is however less of a convenient for people that are less mobile as the entrance of the restaurant require you to travel up quite a few large steps. Overall it is a place I will keep coming back all year round- colder days for their pork chops and hotter days for their vermicelli salad. two thumbs up.

Restaurant trades as both a Chinese restaurant upstairs and a Vietnamese shop downstairs . The Chinese food is made such that there is less oil and msg, tastes very good! No menu but planned well. Thanks

The food was good but sadly the lady that served us was very rude, told us to move table with angry face without smile . We dont know that table is FOR 4 PEOPLE since the guy from the front told us to sit on that table FOR 4 PEOPLE. And then the same lady made me go back and forth for just to order and pay, she make me order from the back counter (on the photo with high counter) and pay at the front desk(on the photo of the front desk with eft POS attach to computer) meanwhile its just one customer away in my front at the front desk, so much hassle and bad experience in this shop.

I recently tried the beef noodle soup (Pho) here and unfortunately was quite disappointed. The broth was only lukewarm rather than hot, which really affected the overall experience. The flavor felt quite bland, almost like everything was blended together without much depth. There was also very little beef for a $21 dish, which didn’t feel like good value for money. Overall, the quality didn’t meet expectations for a Vietnamese-style soup. I also noticed the staff were speaking Mandarin, which made me question the authenticity of the cuisine. Sadly, this visit didn’t feel worth the price.

Additionally, the laksa and various curry dishes are rich and satisfying, bringing a distinct kick that food lovers crave. Don’t miss the Lemongrass Garlic Chicken Wings, they’re a brilliant entrée that packs a punch of flavour. One of the best parts is the quick service, when you call in for takeout, there’s only about a 15 minute wait. Orders are neatly wrapped to avoid any spills, making for a hassle free experience. Dining in the restaurant offers a humble atmosphere that feels welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a casual night out or quick lunch meet. Overall, Sam Pho is a fantastic spot for takeaway, and my whole family thoroughly enjoys what they have to offer. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic flavours.
