Got recommended to come here by my locals in the area, and have came here a few times over the years. The crispy chicken is one of the best Vietnamese crispy skin chicken in Sydney. It's well seasoned, crispy and tender. Compared to some of its competitors though, the cuts of the maryland are sometimes inconsistent between different orders, and darker in colour. However the flavour is there and the meat still juicy. Staff are friendly and food comes in and appropriate pace. The restaurant is also relatively clean. It's great to have a restaurant like this in the area. Recommend! 😋👍

Their pho is a standout—rich, clear broth with generous portions of tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles. The bun bo hue has just the right level of spice, and the broken rice dishes are hearty, flavourful, and great value for money. Service is efficient and friendly, even during busy hours. Dishes come out quickly, and the staff are always ready to recommend something if you’re not sure what to try. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes, making it a great spot for both casual meals and family dinners. Chanced upon this Canley area on my drive while looking for a brunch spot. Phuoc Nam restaurant is famous for their Crispy skin fried chicken - the meat is tender, soft and perfectly cooked! If you are eating alone, just order an egg noodle soup with a portion of the fried chicken. This area is bursting with Vietnamese vibes - road side coffee and markets; it’s wonderful to discover new places with good food👍.
