Mid week, lunch time. Seated and served quickly. Pork Chop dish and Mixed Meat Vermicelli Bowl were nice sized servings and tasty. Vietnamese Coffee was strong and sweet. Parking: street, multi level carpark near by also. Parking on weekends, expect to drive around a few times.
Glad to find this hidden gem in the corner of Cabramatta! Authentic flavour but lighter broth. Portion sizes are great at affordable prices! Clean tables, well air conditioned on a hot day. Owner was friendly too! Card surcharge of less than 2%.
Had the tomato rice with crispy chicken. The egg noodles with crispy chicken and the combination dry noodles. The crispy chicken had great texture and chicken itself was moist (could have benefited from some seasoning). The broth was ok, nothing fantastic, just basic broth (a smidgen on the sweeter side). The texture of the noodles and rice were both good although the tomato rice didn’t have any flavour at all. Flavour of the dried noodle dish was pretty good (better than the other two dishes). What I didn't like so much was that I got this massive whiff of cigarette smoke. I’m assuming it came from an outside draft (as nobody in their right mind would be smoking indoors these days). The smell was so strong I had to triple check that the guy behind me wasn’t the one who lit up. Customer service was great and food was quite affordable here.
Authentic Vietnamese food at a great price. Standout dish was the pork chop. All food had generous sized portions and were very fresh.
Went here last week, and I loved their big serving of porkchop meal. The meat was tender and juicy, and I enjoyed everything on the plate. I came to Cabramatta again tonight for dinner, but their restaurant was closed. Ended up going to another restaurant with much regret. Tan Binh Minh is a new favourite and which I highly recommend.
