i having lunch i orders Vietnamese sweet and sour fish soup ( canh chua cá và cá kho) the broth was nice, however the fish unfortunately not well cook they have to take back and cook again also i request a live fish but they gave me a frozen one , however the services were good friendly and on demand fast overall it’s was nice clean little restaurant .
Ordered their crispy chicken with soup noodles . The crispy chicken was crispy on the skin and tender inside . As for the soup noodles -although soup was very flavourful but without being murky and oily also didn’t feel thirsty at all. Very little msg perhaps . The the texture of the noodle was acceptable . Will definitely be back to try other dishes. Ambience - nothing but simple clean tables
I tried the Bún Thịt Nướng with Chạo Tôm. The prawn paste wasn’t wrapped around sugarcane as expected, and the texture felt overly starchy—perhaps too much bột năng, which dulled the prawn🦐 flavor. The fish sauce lacked depth and balance compared to Bach Đăng restaurant next door. I politely suggested this to the staff, but the response felt dismissive: “We have our customer base.” .😐 I appreciate that every diner has their preferences, but thoughtful feedback should be welcomed, especially from new customers.🙂
The beef pho was incredible! The broth was rich, fragrant, and perfectly balanced.. The thinly sliced beef was tender and cooked to perfection in the hot broth. The crispy chicken with tomato rice was equally outstanding. The chicken was fried to golden perfection, with a super-crispy exterior and juicy, flavourful meat inside.
We visited this restaurant around 7:30 PM on a Saturday night, and it was surprisingly quiet. We ordered the special beef pho, fried rice, and tomato rice with fried chicken. The pho was warm and comforting, making it a good choice for the chilly weather, though it wasn’t particularly outstanding. Both the fried rice and tomato rice were quite bland and lacked flavor. The fried chicken, on the other hand, was crispy and flavorful. Overall, the meal was just alright.
