An authentic Vietnamese restaurant offering Central Vietnamese dishes that are hard to find elsewhere. They have an in-house menu with special items not listed online. The food is flavorful, affordable, and served in generous portions. The bun bo Hue is especially rich in flavor with a mild kick of spice that keeps you coming back for more. The service is excellent, with a very attentive and helpful manager. They also sell unique Vietnamese desserts at the front counter that you won’t easily find anywhere else.
Excellent customer service and delicious food. Vegetarian options available. Loved the fried rice, the vegetables pancakes and the papaya salad. Definitely coming back!
I’ve been here twice. The first time, I ordered a Bánh Mì and Chè Bưởi. The dessert was quite good, and the banh mi wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t pay $5 for a banh mi that small. The second time, I had Bún Cá, but I left about a third of the bowl because the food was terrible, too oily and not authentic at all. On top of that, the owner was not welcoming and made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. I won’t be coming back.
I always have the Bún Riêu and Bún Chả Cá, and both dishes were really satisfying. The portions were generous, especially for the price, which was very reasonable. What impressed me the most was how clean the place always is and how genuinely friendly the staff are every time I visit. This is a simple, comforting place that consistently delivers good food and warm service.
Lovely lady served us, she was friendly, helpful and quick - not once did we had to ask for a fresh bottle of water! Food was delicious and didn’t feel heavy. Broth was clear and super hot for a cold winters day. All dishes we had was of generous size. Will definitely some again and try other dishes on offer.
