Cosy atmosphere and full of locals, the owner seemed to know most diners on a first name basis and I can understand why! We only ate entrees as we had a performance to get to at the mosman art gallery, and we enjoyed everything we are. The fresh spring rolls are refreshing and filling but not heavy, I loved the sauce it came with. The crispy pancakes are the best I've ever had, it is a very unique mix and I enjoyed every bite, it also comes with a small salad and dressing on the side The duck pancakes were hearty but not heavy (a theme in this restaurant), it had a great Vietnamese twist to it. The fresh orange juice was addictive and the loose leaf tea was great Would gladly return.
Consistently good Vietnamese restaurant that has been a favourite of Mosman locals for over 30 years. From the friendly greeting you receive when you first walk in, to the cosy feeling in the dining area and the attentive service, you will feel welcome in this family business. The food is excellent.
First dine in at Tran's after years and years of passing by. Modern Vietnamese cuisine and we all love the vibes. Food is good, found some of the dishes a bit over-priced like brown rice buddha. Scallops is nothing like a photo on the website. Love duck pancakes and fish curry. 6 of us spent $350+ young girl with glasses provided a good service.
Tran's restaurant is a cosy Vietnamese fusion restaurant that has been around for almost 30 years. Lanna the owner and chief of chef always has customers at heart and make sure they are well looked after. If you are looking for Vietnamese street food, don't go there. But if you appreciate nice modern Vietnamese delicacy in a fine dining atmosphere to enjoy a relax evening or celebrate with your love one, that could be your go to and you won't regret about it!
Food flavours were lovely. Service was great as was the ambience. BYO wine only we had lots of food 🥘 loved the scallops and the duck rolls delicious 😋 we will be back again. Thank you
