Really enjoyed our lunch here today (Crispy chicken wings, chicken pho, and shaking beef with tomato rice). So fresh and full of flavour! Fast and friendly service too.

Came in for lunch after seeing on socials that they had recently opened. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Food came out pretty quick. The Pho was a good serving size was great. Lots of beef and noodles. Flavour of the broth was a little lacking, but the beef was top quality. The crispy chicken was meaty and flavourful. Again serving portion was generous. Pricing was average compared to other Viet restaurants. Overall the food was great. Over time i expect they'll only get better as they tweak their dishes. Look forward to coming back soon.

I recently visited Viet Munchies in Gregory Hills area, and it turned out to be a fantastic surprise. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the staff were genuinely friendly from the moment I walked in. The pho was the standout — rich broth, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked noodles. It tasted authentic and comforting, just like a home-cooked Vietnamese meal. The spring rolls were crispy, flavourful, and not oily at all. Portion sizes were generous, and everything came out fresh and well-presented. The place is also very clean and tidy, which adds to the overall dining experience. Service was quick, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, Viet Munchies is a great spot for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese food with friendly service. It’s the kind of local restaurant you can easily see yourself returning to again and again. Highly recommended!

Viet Munchies is a godsend to the Gregory Hills area, which doesn’t have a whole lot to offer in the way of authentic Asian cuisine. Just as well this place is a veritable one-stop shop of all the best in authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Pho, Banh mi, rice paper rolls – they’ve got absolutely everything. It’s a shame the place is buried in the back corner of a business complex, but otherwise everything about Viet Munchies is punching well above its weight. The seating is roomy, it’s well lit, the interior space is appealing in its design, the menus are simple and easy to understand – if I didn’t already know this is an independent restaurant, I would’ve guessed it was part of a franchise. Even the chopsticks are strangely luxurious. The food, crucially, absolutely hits the spot. Authentic flavours and spices. Generous garnishes. Sensible portion sizes. Soup broth that hits you right in your soul. There are little differences here and there from how things are done in Burwood and Bankstown, but none of those places offer the kind of variety that’s found here. As I said before: it’s a one-stop shop for all things Vietnamese. They offer a full complement of Authentic Vietnamese coffee, also available in long black (not pre-mixed with condensed milk, as many places often do) – sugary and strong, as well as iced teas. Lastly, the service is wonderful. The food comes quickly, the staff are friendly – I hope this place gets the support it needs because it absolutely deserves to thrive. I’ll definitely back to try everything else on the menu.
