This place may not be one of the most comfortable restaurant to be in but it does a decent Vietnamese combination rice with nicely grilled pork chops as well as other rice dishes at a reasonable price for a lunch in Bondi. Another good thing is that it doesn’t take long to get a table during weekday lunch hours and service is good. Although note, maybe because it’s a family business, this place might have you startle with occasional scolding noise between the staff.

I made the order via Doordash and was completely shocked to receive a nearly empty container. Tried ringing the restaurant but their phone is off-line. I have eaten in the restaurant many times and found it great but I would not recommend getting delivery from them

The vege spring rolls were unusual. I liked them. Service today was great. Polite, well spoken and friendly. Hardly any wait for my appetiser. I don't know the young man's name but he was super.

I’ve gone to Viet Senses quite a few times and it’s genuinely my favourite place to get Vietnamese food. The food has always been delicious and affordable, but yesterday I had quite an unpleasant experience. I got a beef pho and pork spring rolls as a takeaway, and found a piece of hair in the container of beef. While that wasn’t a great experience, I’m not the type of person to confront or write a bad review about that. However, I found a second piece of hair within the wrapping of my spring roll (as seen in the photo) and that really disappointed me. I’m sharing this because I’ve always had great experiences here and I’d like to see this issue addressed rather than ignore it. I hope that something is done about this.

Update: Still the best! Value, quality, and flavour are the best we've ever had in Sydney. $38 got us rare beef noodle pho (crisp beansprouts, fresh purple basil), vegetable spring rolls (crispy, fresh and flavoursome) on noodles, complimentary teas, and an iced coffee I can't stop thinking about. Hard to find any fault: maybe overly salty broth; maybe the single server had to work too hard during the lunchtime peak. Better than the most highly rated competitor nearby!
