Really great food and reasonable prices. The vermicelli salads are delicious. The hainanese chicken rice rice is so flavourful. We were also very pleased we could order a huge plate of veggies without the crispy noodles (didn't need the extra carbs and didn't want to waste them for the restaurant). Ginger teas are made with real ginger and not overly sweet. Staff were very friendly and the food came super quickly.
The beef pho was okay, but the broth lacked the rich, robust flavour I was hoping for. On the positive side, the prawn rice rolls were fresh, tasty, and definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there’s room for improvement with the pho.
They were pre busy when I went on a Saturday night. Lots of variety, I enjoyed the lemon grass chicken. Will be back to try other items on the menu. The desserts looked really nice however they were out of stock so that was bit disappointing. My cocktail(Saigon sunshine) was pre-nice do recommend trying their cocktails.
I’ve been coming here regularly for quite some time and have always had a great experience, which is why today’s visit was so disappointing. I ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, but it arrived with no salt or pepper seasoning at all. It also tasted like a bad batch as the calamari was unusually rubbery instead of being light and crispy like it normally is. I mentioned this to a staff member, who kindly replaced it. Unfortunately, the replacement had the exact same issue. It still had no salt or pepper seasoning and was also missing the usual chilli, spring onion, and white onion topping that normally comes with the dish. Really disappointing, especially since I’ve always enjoyed ordering this here. Sadly, I won’t be ordering the calamari again.
I don’t know if it’d be a reach to call the food here life changing, but it was genuinely some of the best vietnamese food I’ve ever had. And that’s a high bar considering the plethora of options. Originally came here because I was passing through the city and my usual bites were closed and I was not expecting the literal most perfect chicken of my life. Crispy skin, moist meat, and even the accompaniment of some broth to tie it all together was just wonderful. Theres nothing like a simple dish done perfectly. Other than that, the atmosphere and general dining areas were clean and followed a calming classy aesthetic. Staff were lovely. No notes. 10/10
