Gledswood Homestead was the perfect venue for my surprise 40th birthday celebration. My husband organised everything, and from the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how beautiful the venue was. It fit my country-themed celebration perfectly and provided such a warm, charming atmosphere for family and friends to gather. The staff were incredibly polite, accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with throughout the event. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made the day feel seamless and stress-free. What I loved most was that the venue really speaks for itself. Even with minimal decorating, it looked absolutely stunning. The natural beauty, character, and charm of the property created the perfect backdrop for such a special milestone. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my 40th birthday and would highly recommend Gledswood Homestead to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable event venue.

The whole team at Gledswood were incredibly supportive and wonderful throughout our entire wedding planning journey. Jordie was always quick to respond and made sure every detail was planned exactly the way we envisioned. On the day itself, Lauren was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and created the most beautiful setting for our day, our guests were still talking about how gorgeous it was for weeks afterwards! We got married back in October at Gledswood and just wow. We had the best day ever!!! This absolutely, beautiful old heritage homestead from 1810 (would you believe), had so much character and we loved the rustic, country look, it was just what we wanted. We had the peppertree package and were completely blown away with all of the inclusions. We chose the Cask Room as a more intimate place for our guests for the reception that sat 80 people perfectly, and canapes hour for guests was at the quirky cellar door which was just unreal. Such a cool space! The grounds made for some really incredible photos, so green and lush in the spring time. We loved the Parlour Room for our bridal canapes hr, it also made for some stunning photos. Everything ran so smoothly leading up to the wedding and especially on the day with regular communication with staff, it was a very stress free and easy experience! Nothing was a hassle and we thoroughly enjoyed planning our wedding with the gledswood team. Special thanks to Prue who was our go to from the day we had our first viewing, to excitedly booking and later on in the process ensuring the cask room was set up like everything we dreamed of and more. The rest of the team were equally as valued. Thanks guys! We honestly couldn't rave about Gledswood enough and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful, memorable and cherished wedding day. We are so happy we chose Gledswood and wouldn't of had anyone else host our special day. The best part is, we can return in the future for anniversaries/dinners/ etc as they have so many great events on!

Jordie is a GODSEND! She was attentive, accommodating and had the details down to a T! She cried during our ceremony too so it felt very personal🥰 The staff were polite sweet and welcoming! Every step was easy to navigate and well assisted with. The price for what you receive is absolutely outstanding and you have the option to make weekly payments which helped with our finances.

We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception here at Gledswood on 28/2. From our first inspection and meeting we fell in love with this property (so much so we cancelled other appointments we had booked for other local venues) Our first meeting right through until after the conclusion this venue and staff were truly exceptional. The whole process was easy, smooth, comfortable, relaxed and fun. We did not deal with 1 person who was nothing short of helpful, friendly and amazing and that contributed to a perfect day. We held our ceremony on the Hennery Lawn and reception in the Shearing shed, both were set up perfectly on the day. The chef was a pleasure to deal with and his food was delicious. The alcohol selection was brilliant and their wine is top quality and bloody delicious!! The property is gorgeous and just what we wanted for our rustic laid back feel wedding. They understood our vision and delivered it exactly as we pictured. An added bonus was most of our suppliers such as celebrant, photographer, cake, DJ were all recommendations from Gledswood and not one of them disappointed, they were all terrific showing that Gledswood have paired up with the best. We are grateful to Nadene and her brilliant team for everything they did to make our day such a fantastic experience. Thank you for everything and we highly recommend anyone to engage with Gledswood for hosting a function, they simply will not disappoint. Matt & Erin Draper
