Dinner 19.8.2025 Great little place. A jewel tucked away in Penrith well worth the experience. Staff - polite, service oriented and had a competent knowledge of drinks and food items on menu and happy to make suggestions based on your likes. Drinks - had cocktails and top shelf spirit. All had above average taste and could not fault Food - tried a couple of dishes, both had good presentation with exceptional taste Atmosphere- great place to relax with nice background music Value - Reasonable as far as boutique bars go Would definately come again
I recently celebrated a mate's birthday at AG Bar, and what an incredible find! Tucked away in the Penrith alleys, this place is an absolute hidden gem. The atmosphere was buzzing from the moment we walked in – cool, intimate, and with a fantastic energy. The DJ was on point all night, dropping old-school bangers, It was the perfect soundtrack for a celebration. We opted for a set menu for our party, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was delicious, clearly made with quality ingredients. The service matched the high standard of the food; it was spot-on, attentive, and friendly without being intrusive. The vibe was 100% from start to finish. I can't recommend AG Bar enough for a fun night out or, like we did, a small party function. We'll definitely be back!
My husband and I went for a quiet dinner, just us in Penrith. We were greeted and seated without being rushed but with genuine interest asking if it was a special occasion. The hostess was able to explain the menu and recommend plates when we were tossing up which to get. The atmosphere was intimate and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Highly recommend AGs.
My husband and I held our wedding at Allan Grammar a few days ago. Sophia, Nick, and the entire team were incredible at hosting us. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all guests were comfortable and well looked after. The food was delicious and plentiful - almost every single guest told us that it was the best food they'd ever been served at a wedding. Thank you again for playing a huge part in giving us a perfect wedding day!!
Absolute Gem in Penrith! We had a wonderful time at Allan Grammar! The moment you walk in, you are greeted by a fantastic, welcoming atmosphere and a perfectly curated music playlist that sets a relaxed yet sophisticated mood. The service was exceptional – the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home throughout the evening. As for the food, everything was absolutely delicious! The Wagyu steak deserves special mention – it was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. The roasted Brussels sprouts and apple gratin were a pleasant surprise, full of flavor. High-quality food, great atmosphere, and wonderful people. Highly recommended!
