We dropped in feeling more like wine and nibbles than a full meal, and the food genuinely impressed. The sourdough with smoked butter was excellent - slightly warmed, great bread, and you could smell and taste the smokiness straight away. Simple but really well done. The tuna crudo with lemongrass salsa, kohlrabi, and olives was delicate and fresh - exactly what a crudo should be. Clean flavours, beautifully balanced, and very easy to enjoy. The standout for me was the beef tartare on a prawn cracker. Beef tartare is my go-to dish and I’ll order it anywhere it’s on the menu and this was a genuinely different take. It felt like a cover song where the chef’s taken the original idea and completely made it their own. The prawn cracker gave it an Asian-inspired edge, the seasoning had a gentle kick (not overpowering), and there was a spring onion/sesame vibe that worked really well. The ratio of meat to cracker was generous, and honestly, I could have eaten several more of these without hesitation. We also ordered the Ocean Jacket cheek with pil pil, salmon roe, and potato crisp. I didn’t try it myself (not big on cooked fish), but it looked lovely and was described as delicate and really enjoyable - especially the roe and crisp. The wine list is thoughtfully curated and really solid - definitely a place you come to for a good glass of wine. The space itself feels local, casual, and quietly classy without trying too hard. The only real letdown was the service. Not rude, but not particularly warm or attentive either. We didn’t feel especially welcome, and things like asking for the wine list again without a follow-up to take another order meant we probably left earlier and ordered less than we otherwise would have. With better service, we absolutely would have stayed longer. Food and wine were excellent; service just didn’t quite match. Still a very good experience overall.

Highly recommend. Service with a personality! Ally was a fantastic host, offering great advice on the wine selection. Location is 10/10, cosy spot, food is top notch and wine list a nice mix of local and international wines. Anchovy toast is chef's kiss..

The food was decent but we were a bit misled by the set menu… it should aptly be renamed to a “sharing menu” between 2 Also, we found the service to be very slow - taking almost 3 hours from start to finish. We were hungry again by the end! The waitress we had was lovely and very kind - just spread a bit thinly I think

Another wine Chapel ,this time in Potts Point. A wide range of selection , " our Wagner of the Cellar" was an impressive wine steward. The food offering is delicious and the service from everyone in the team just spot on.
