What an exceptional find! We loved our night at Knird. A cosy wine bar with amazing food and wine and even better service. The small team truly deliver an outstanding experience from start to finish. Special shout out to the pork cotoletta and to Prince for recommending it. I’ll be day-dreaming about that for a long time to come. Sublime! Thanks Andy and team, we will be back soon!

Knird is my absolute favourite wine bar! When I walk in and Andrew asks, “Red or white?” and I reply, “Yes,” there’s a knowing look… and before long, a fabulous wine is placed in front of me. He just gets it! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the wine selection is fantastic, and everyone is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They really take the time to understand what you enjoy and always make brilliant recommendations. The food is consistently delicious, and I cannot recommend the chorizo, octopus, warm Israeli couscous and Brussels sprouts highly enough — although, to be fair, I have never had a bad dish here! Knird is the perfect spot for a relaxed wine, a catch-up with friends or a special night out. It’s a firm favourite of mine, and I’ll keep coming back again and again. I would rather keep this place to myself but won't be selfish! Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic experience at Knird. The service was exceptional — friendly, knowledgeable staff who made great recommendations without being pushy. The wine list was thoughtfully curated, with plenty of local and international options to explore. Their snack selection was just as impressive, offering the perfect pairings for every glass. A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to settle in and enjoy the night. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to! Ps. The owner drove us home because it was pouring down with rain! The best!

KNIRD is a quality gem of Crows Nest. Andy, Johannes and the whole team have exceptional taste and knowledge, with a wine list full of beautiful bottles from unique parts of the world. The food menu is delicious and updated regularly, keeping it exciting. Above all, the atmosphere is great - warm, welcoming and always lots of laughter and fun.

An intimate and laid back restaurant with a good selection of wine, located in Crows Nest. The ingredients were fresh and dishes were cooked well. I recommend the prosciutto croquettes with smoked paprika and Queensland King Prawns. Staff were attentive, friendly and enjoyed a casual chat. Will be back in the future 😋👍
