This place definitely did not disappoint. Probably the best Japanese bbq I’ve been to. Did the $79 all you can eat. All the dishes were amazing. Sashimi was nice and fresh. Wagyu was incredibly tender. The dipping sauce they give you is so delicious. Such a fantastic dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back.
I had been meaning to try this place out for a while, and my goodness it did not disappoint. The service was exceptional from the start, and don’t even get me started on the Wagyu beef. It was so tender and just melted in your mouth. The venue was really nice, and pretty quiet compared to other venues. Overall I would say this is my new favourite Japanese bbq.
We tried out rokkos on the weekend as it was recommended to us. It was great!! Amazing tasting food, fresh, good service. We will definitely be coming back here again.
The food was just okay. We went with the buffet option, and while the restaurant was packed, it was clearly understaffed. The staff looked completely drained—no greetings, no eye contact, just rushly placing dishes on the table. It felt like they were running on fumes, and honestly, I don't blame them given how busy it was. Our order was also a bit of a mess—some dishes were missing, others came in larger portions than what we asked for. Overall, it was an average experience. The food was so-so. I really hope they hire more staff and work on getting orders right (it would make a big difference). P.S. the oyster was not good. Don’t order it if you don’t wanna get tummy ache.
The restaurant offers both a la carte and all-you-can-eat options, and we chose the all-you-can-eat package for around AUD 80 per person. The selection was quite diverse, including unique items like mackerel and thick-cut beef tongue, with the latter being especially impressive. They also offer raw beef, octopus, and oysters, which adds to the variety. For the price, the value is definitely there. Soft drinks like Coke and Sprite are included, though desserts aren’t, which is a unique touch. The overall dining atmosphere was pleasant, but the ordering process was a bit of a drawback as it’s done with paper rather than a tablet, which would have been more efficient.
